The Opportunity

Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of programmes, our Client is looking for an experienced Business Analyst with current or lapsed UK SC Clearance to join their team on a hybrid basis in Cheltenham.

Working across high-profile defence and national security programmes, you’ll collaborate with technical teams, delivery partners, and key stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into practical, secure solutions that make a real impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyse, and document business requirements.
• Work closely with stakeholders and technical teams to deliver effective solutions.
• Produce clear business and functional documentation.
• Support solution design, testing, implementation, and business change.
• Ensure solutions meet security, compliance, and governance standards.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Proven Business Analyst experience within government, defence, national security, or other regulated environments.
• Current or lapsed UK SC Clearance.
• Strong requirements gathering, business process analysis, and documentation skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to manage competing priorities.

Desirable Skills

• Experience working on defence or intelligence programmes.
• Knowledge of Agile delivery methodologies.
• Familiarity with security standards such as ISO 27001 or JSP.

Salary & Benefits

• £47,000 – £57,000 per annum (DOE)
