Are you an aerospace systems expert with a proven track record of steering complex aircraft architectures?
On behalf of a pioneering aviation client, we are seeking a Chief Systems Engineer. This is an elite, high-level position designed for a deeply experienced professional capable of establishing a unified engineering vision. You will lead the architecture development methodologies across all aircraft systems, providing a consolidated view of risk and status directly to senior management.
This role offers a highly competitive compensation package aligned with top-tier engineering management salaries.
As the overarching authority on systems architecture, you will ensure technical alignment and consistency across the entire aircraft platform:
Coordinate across all aircraft systems using a consistent methodology to ensure seamless integration.
Deliver a consolidated, high-level view of architecture development status and technical risks to leadership.
Establish and champion the architectural framework, balancing conventional systems approaches with modern engineering practices.
Provide technical steering and over-sight across multi-disciplinary engineering teams without direct line management duties.
Mitigate architectural risks early in the development lifecycle for a next-generation aircraft programme.
13+ years of professional experience in the aerospace industry, with a definitive background in new aircraft development programmes.
Comprehensive supervision experience across all major aircraft systems. Deep, specialised expertise ideally in Flight Control Systems (FCS) and Avionics.
Extensive experience with conventional aircraft systems architectures; experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) is highly desirable.
Language: Fluent English is required – French is highly desirable.
If you possess the deep aerospace expertise required to shape the future of aircraft architecture, please apply with your updated CV.
