We are supporting a delivery partner on a high-priority National Security programme and are looking for eDV-cleared Cloud Architects to join a secure delivery team working on mission-critical platforms.

This is a delivery-focused architecture role (not just slideware) – shaping secure cloud designs and guiding engineering teams through build, assurance, and operational handover in a highly controlled environment.

What you will ll be doing:

• Owning and contributing to cloud architecture across design and delivery
• Producing core artefacts where needed (e.g., HLD/LLD, reference patterns, standards, decision logs)
• Designing secure-by-default approaches for:
• Identity & access, privileged access, least privilege
• Network/security controls, segmentation, secure connectivity
• Logging, monitoring, auditability, and operational visibility
• Resilience/HA/DR considerations
• Working closely with engineering, security, and assurance stakeholders to ensure solutions are secure, supportable, and deliverable

What we’re looking for:

Essential

• Active eDV clearance (mandatory)
• Strong experience as a Cloud Architect (or senior cloud/platform/security architect) in government / defence / high-assurance environments
• Solid grasp of cloud governance, security architecture principles, and enterprise networking fundamentals
• Confident communicator with both technical teams and senior stakeholders

Desirable

• Landing zones / platform foundations / reusable patterns (“paved road”)
• Infrastructure as Code exposure (e.g., Terraform / Bicep / CloudFormation)
• Containers / CI/CD / runtime governance familiarity
• Experience supporting cloud solutions used by data/analytics workloads

Working constraints

This is delivered within a high-security environment, so you must be comfortable working under strict information-handling and assurance controls.
