Role Overview

We’re hiring a Cloud DevOps Lead to drive cloud and DevOps initiatives as the platform continues to scale. This is a leadership-focused, hands-on role responsible for shaping cloud operations, improving automation, and embedding best practices across teams.

You’ll play a key role in modernising infrastructure while mentoring engineers and influencing how DevOps is done across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and implementation of cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices
  • Improve automation, workflows, and deployment processes
  • Ensure platform performance, reliability, and scalability
  • Mentor engineers and promote knowledge sharing
  • Evaluate and introduce new tools and technologies
  • Drive best practices across cloud security and compliance

Required Experience

  • Proven experience in DevOps or cloud engineering roles
  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Expertise in CI/CD pipelines and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Experience with automation and scripting (Python, Bash)
  • Hands-on use of IaC tools such as Terraform or Ansible
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Nice to Have

  • Experience working in Agile environments
  • Exposure to monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, ELK)
  • Good understanding of networking and cloud security
  • Prior experience mentoring or leading engineers
