Safety Engineer – Land

• £450/day (Outside IR35)
• 2 days/week on-site in Andover
• Contract length – ASAP until end of March

iO are currently on the lookout for an SC-cleared Safety Engineer who can move fast, get approvals over the line with incredible stakeholder management.

You’ll provide safety engineering support across land / Army vehicle programmes, working in a rapid deployment environment where pace matters and an outcomes-focused approach is essential to achieve quick turnaround.

Acting as a trusted advisor, you’ll engage directly with the client on-site and remotely – building strong working relationships, translating technical safety considerations into clear recommendations, and guiding stakeholders through risk-based decisions

What you need

• Active SC clearance
• Defence safety engineering experience (land/vehicles ideal)
• Confident engaging with senior stakeholders; able to influence
