Contract Stress Engineer

UK/Europe – FULLY REMOTE 

£30-£35 p/h

OUTSIDE IR35

6 Months initially

Our client is a specialist aerospace engineering business supporting major aircraft programmes. They are seeking an experienced Stress Engineer to support a new long-term programme spanning across 5 years. 

This is a highly autonomous role, ideal for someone comfortable working remotely and integrating quickly into an established engineering team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform stress analysis across a range of aerospace engineering activities.
  • Carry out FEM / Finite Element Modelling and static analysis.
  • Undertake Fatigue & Damage Tolerance (F&DT) assessments.
  • Support vibration analysis and structural assessments.
  • Produce accurate technical reports and engineering documentation.
  • Work independently while collaborating effectively with wider programme teams.

Essential Experience

  • Strong professional experience in aerospace stress analysis.
  • Proven experience across FEM, static analysis, F&DT and vibrations.
