The Role

We’re seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst to analyse large, complex datasets, uncovering critical trends, patterns, and insights that drive time-sensitive, data-driven decisions. You’ll translate sophisticated data analysis into clear, actionable recommendations for senior stakeholders, playing a pivotal role in mission-critical intelligence delivery.

Core Responsibilities

• Data Acquisition: Gather and integrate data from diverse enterprise sources (databases, APIs, systems)

• Data Quality: Clean, validate, and preprocess large datasets ensuring integrity for high-stakes analysis

• Exploratory Analysis: Conduct deep-dive statistical analysis to identify patterns, anomalies, and correlations

• Visual Intelligence: Build executive-ready reports, dashboards, and visualisations (Power BI/Tableau)

• Stakeholder Communication: Present complex findings clearly and confidently to non-technical audiences

• Sensitive Data Handling: Perform analysis on classified/sensitive datasets with strict security protocols

• Requirements Translation: Convert stakeholder needs into prioritised analytics workstreams for delivery teams

What We’re Looking For

Technical Foundation:

• Strong Python or SQL proficiency for data manipulation, analysis, and automation

• End-to-end ownership of analytics solutions (requirements → deployment)

Analytical Excellence:

• Proven ability interpreting complex datasets to deliver actionable business intelligence

• Experience analysing large-scale datasets for intelligence reporting

• Highly advantageous: Analysis experience on sensitive/classified systems

Technical Advantages:

• Relational databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle) and data warehouse exposure

• Dashboard development (Power BI, Tableau, or similar)

• Data governance and security best practices
