We’re looking for a Database Developer to join a small Agile team working across SQL development, data investigation, and production support.

You’ll be responsible for maintaining and improving core data processing systems, resolving data issues, and optimising performance across large datasets.

Split of work:

  • 60% SQL development & optimisation
  • 30% data investigation & support
  • 10% tooling/process improvement

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and optimise SQL Server-based data solutions
  • Investigate and resolve data issues and anomalies
  • Support production systems and deploy fixes
  • Improve performance of queries and data pipelines
  • Work with internal stakeholders to resolve data queries

Required Skills

  • 3+ years SQL Server experience
  • Strong T-SQL (queries, tuning, indexing)
  • Azure SQL experience
  • Strong analytical / data troubleshooting skills
  • Experience with structured data (CSV/XML)
  • Git experience

Day-day
