DevOps Engineer

Title: Senior DevOps Engineer

Salary: Up to £70,000

Location: London (Hybrid)

iO Associates is exclusively working with a well-established, forward-thinking digital agency that is looking to hire a Senior DevOps Engineer to take ownership of and evolve their DevOps capability.

This is a genuinely exciting opportunity for someone who wants to shape DevOps strategy, improve internal processes, and drive technical standards across a busy web development function. You’ll sit at the intersection of development and operations, helping teams deliver secure, scalable and high-performing web platforms for a diverse client base.

You’ll play a pivotal role in:

• Designing and managing robust cloud-hosted environments (Windows & Linux)
• Leading the evolution of CI/CD pipelines
• Improving automation, monitoring, patching and performance optimisation
• Managing hosting environments, DNS, SSL and multi-site platforms
• Strengthening security, backup and disaster recovery practices
• Collaborating closely with Developers, Architects, PMs and 3rd-party hosting providers

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong experience in a DevOps / SRE / Infrastructure Engineering role
• Proven experience managing Windows server environments (IIS, AD, etc.), alongside Linux
• Hands-on experience with Azure, AWS, GCP or private cloud platforms
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
• Experience with patching, security hardening, backups and disaster recovery
• Scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, Python or similar)
• Experience implementing monitoring, logging and alerting solutions
• Confident communicator who enjoys working across multidisciplinary teams
