DV Cleared Software Engineer

iO are looking for an experienced Software Engineer with active DV Clearance to join one of our clients on a large Defence programme. Ideally, we’re looking for someone who has experience leading teams whilst still remaining hands-on.

Rate: £675 – £725 per day

Location: London, 3 days per week on site

Duration: 3 months initial contract

Security Clearance: Active DV Clearance 

You will play a huge part in influencing the engineering standards and technical delivery of a modern platform using Python, React, TypeScript, Kubernetes, and cloud-native technologies.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Experience working within Defence or National Security programmes
• Previous experience leading software development teams.
• Strong development expertise in:
  • Python
  • React
  • TypeScript
  • FastAPI
  • REST APIs
  • React
  • TypeScript
• Strong understanding of PostgreSQL & MongoDB
• Docker & Kubernetes
• Previous experience working within MOD deployment environments.
