eDV Cleared Solution Architect

iO are seeking an eDV Cleared Solution Architect to support a client of ours on an important, security-focused programme working out of Cheltenham.

This role is ideal if you enjoy owning technical direction and strengthening the integrity of solutions end-to-end, this is an opportunity to make a huge difference.

Location: Cheltenham – on site

Rate/Salary: £650 – £750 per day, Inside IR35 or £90,000 – £95,000 per annum if permanent

Essential Skills & Experience

• Active eDV Clearance
• Strong understanding of how to design secure solutions for sensitive environments within Government or Defence
• Ability to translate requirements into architecture that teams can deliver against
• Experience producing architecture artefacts (e.g., diagrams, system descriptions, interface definitions, design rationale)
• Knowledge of common architectural frameworks and modelling approaches
• Exposure to cloud or hybrid architectures within secure constraints
• Familiarity with assurance, governance, and evidence-based compliance practices
• Experience with integration-heavy systems (APIs, services, event/data flows)
• Strong documentation and configuration control habits
