Electrical AIT Engineer

I am working with a Bristol based client who are looking for an experienced Electrical AIT professional to support a manufacturing business operating in an industrial, low-volume environment.

Please note EU citizenship needed.

Key areas of focus include:

• Carry out electrical assembly and integration tasks on spacecraft subsystems, including wiring, harnessing, PCB assembly, and avionics installation
• Support and execute various testing programmes such as functional, environmental, and system-level tests
• Develop, review, and maintain detailed electrical test procedures, scripts, and documentation
• Diagnose and resolve electrical faults encountered during integration and test phases
• Collaborate with design engineers to address issues and optimise system performance
• Assist with the setup, calibration, and operation of Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE)
• Ensure all activities adhere to relevant industry standards and quality requirements, including ECSS
• Analyse test data, prepare reports, and track anomalies to facilitate continuous improvement
• Contribute towards refining workflows and operational procedures within the AIT environment

Essential Skills & Experience

• Degree or higher qualification in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline
• Proven experience working within electrical integration, test, or manufacturing, preferably within the aerospace sector
• Solid knowledge of electronic systems, wiring, harnessing, and PCB-level assembly
• Hands-on experience with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and power supplies
• Ability to develop and follow comprehensive test procedures and technical documentation
• Strong troubleshooting skills with a methodical approach to electrical and system issues
• Attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality standards
