Are you a proactive Electronic Systems Security Consultant with strong electronic security design & consulting experience looking for your next career move?

I’m partnering with AtkinsRéalis UK Limited to support their security consulting and engineering work across transformational programmes for critical UK infrastructure. In this role, you’ll contribute across the full lifecycle—from early scoping and design through to delivery—working closely with clients and multidisciplinary teams in the UK and overseas.

The Details:

Location: UK Wide (open across London, Bristol, Birmingham, Leeds, Manchester, Epsom)
Salary: £50,000 – £65,000 (DOE)
Type: Permanent, Full Time
Clearance: Sole British Nationals (SC eligible; active SC not required to interview/offer)

Key Responsibilities:

· Undertake technical work within Electronic Security Systems specialist areas to relevant design standards and high-quality levels.
· Prepare briefs, scopes of work, and contribute to bid proposals across all stages of the design process.
· Manage time and budgets against key project milestones and programmes.
· Work closely with clients and teams in the UK/overseas to deliver integrated design solutions.
· Adhere to quality assurance standards in design delivery.

What we are looking for:

· Strong experience in electronic systems security (e.g., Access Control, badges, CCTV/Surveillance, biometrics/facial recognition, IDS/alarms, networks).
· Sound knowledge across: Electronic Surveillance Systems, IDS, Access Control, SMS/VMS, security analytics, biometrics, wired/wireless networks, integrated solutions, CAD/BIM/REVIT design.
· Experience delivering robust security governance, policies, and procedures aligned to legislative/client needs and regulatory standards (e.g., NPSA, ISO, LPCB).
· Degree-qualified (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline.
· Membership/association with a relevant professional body (e.g., SyI, RSES, ASC etc.) is beneficial.
