Hiring: Electronic Systems Security Consultant | Leading Engineering & Critical Infra Consultancy | UK (Multiple Offices)

Are you an Electronic Systems Security specialist with strong hands-on experience across CCTV / VMS, access control, IDS, biometrics and networked security solutions, looking to step into high-impact programmes across critical UK infrastructure?

I’m partnering with a major global consultancy supporting transformational security programmes across sectors including aviation, defence, energy, cities & development, education and water. In this role, you’ll work across the full security consulting and engineering lifecycle helping deliver integrated electronic security designs for complex, regulated environments.

The Details:

Location: UK wide (preference for London, Bristol, Birmingham, Leeds, Manchester, Epsom)
Salary: £50,000 – £65,000 (DOE)
Type: Permanent, Full Time

Key Responsibilities:

· Deliver technical work across Electronic Security Systems specialist service areas, aligned to relevant standards and codes.

· Prepare briefs, scopes of work, and contribute to bid proposals across all design stages.

· Manage time and budgets against key milestones and programmes.

· Collaborate with clients and multi-disciplinary teams in the UK and overseas to deliver integrated design solutions.

· Maintain strong quality assurance across design outputs and deliverables.

What we are looking for:

· Strong experience across electronic system security (e.g., access control, CCTV/VMS, IDS/alarms, biometrics/facial recognition, security analytics, integrated solutions).

· Good knowledge of wired/wireless networks in security environments.

· Experience producing designs using CAD / BIM / Revit (highly desirable).

· Understanding of relevant government policies, legal requirements, and regulatory standards (e.g., NPSA, ISO, LPCB or similar).

· Recognised affiliation with a relevant security industry professional body (e.g., SyI, RSES, ASC, etc.).

· Clearance: Sole British Nationals — must be SC eligible
