We’re working with an established and growing engineering-led manufacturing business looking to bring in an Electronics Project Engineer to support new and existing product development.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll take ownership of projects from initial concept through to production, working closely with both internal teams and external partners.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead electronics development projects from specification through to final release
  • Collaborate with design and manufacturing partners, ensuring clear communication of technical requirements
  • Provide regular project updates and communicate progress to key stakeholders
  • Support the setup, maintenance, and improvement of test equipment including jigs and fixtures
  • Test and validate electronic products to ensure performance and reliability
  • Carry out fault finding and root cause analysis using appropriate tools and techniques
  • Research and evaluate new components and technologies for future development
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date technical documentation

Skills & Experience

  • Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or similar (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience working in an electronics or manufacturing environment
  • Project management skills with the ability to manage stakeholders
  • Experience with PCB design and testing is highly desirable
  • Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to problem solving
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
