iO Associates are partnered with a company who are strengthening their engineering organisation and looking for an Electronics Engineering Manager to lead a team focused on developing complex electronic systems used in demanding technical environments.

About the Role
You will oversee a team of electronics engineers, supporting both their daily engineering activities and their long‑term professional growth. Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing day‑to‑day coaching, mentoring and practical support to engineers
• Contributing to electronic design work, especially during early‑stage development
• Planning workloads, assigning resources and maintaining an overview across projects
• Monitoring progress, attending project kick‑off and review meetings
• Supporting recruitment and onboarding of new team members and contractors
• Conducting performance discussions and identifying training and development needs
• Building team cohesion, supporting retention and maintaining a positive work environment
• Ensuring engineering processes, methods and documentation are followed and improved
• Contributing to the organisation’s longer-term technology roadmap
• Collaborating with senior engineering leadership and other internal functions

Your Profile

• Master’s degree in Electronics or a related field
• Experience managing people and coordinating engineering projects
• Strong communication skills in English; additional languages an advantage
• Comfortable working in a fast‑moving engineering environment with changing priorities
• Strong planning and organisational skills
