Job Title: Engineering Configuration Manager / Change Process Manager

Location: Filton, UK (Hybrid – 60% Onsite)

Contract: 12 Months (Extension Possible)

Rate: £38/hour (Inside IR35)

About the Role

We’re hiring an Engineering Configuration Manager to support major aircraft programmes, ensuring effective engineering configuration and change management across the product lifecycle.

Working within a cross-functional environment, you’ll collaborate with Engineering, Programme, Airworthiness, Manufacturing, and Configuration teams to deliver configuration activities that support aircraft delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end Engineering Change activities
• Coordinate Engineering Configuration Management across multiple programmes
• Support Engineering Change Process deliverables and stakeholder management
• Drive configuration governance throughout the aircraft lifecycle
• Support digital transformation and Product Lifecycle Management initiatives
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage risks and deliver on time

Required Experience

• Strong Engineering Configuration Management experience
• End-to-end Engineering Change Management knowledge
• Product Data Management (PDM) tool experience
• Configuration Management tool experience
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

Nice to Have

• Python or SQL
• Skywise
• PLM / Digital Engineering exposure
• Aerospace or aviation background
