Role: EPIC Data Migration Specialist
Roles available: 2
Type: Permanent
Salary: £80,000-£100,000 per-annum (DOE)
Location: Fully remote – UK-based

We’re working with a specialist healthcare consultancy that delivers complex digital transformation programmes across the NHS, particularly within large-scale EPR environments.

Due to continued growth and an expanding pipeline of EPIC implementations, they are now looking to build out their permanent Data Migration capability. This isn’t about hiring for one go-live – it’s about strengthening a core team that will support multiple programmes nationally and play a key role in shaping best practice across future deployments.

This is a fully remote, permanent opportunity (UK-based), offering long-term stability, exposure to major NHS transformation initiatives, and the chance to become a trusted specialist within a growing EPIC function.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead data mapping, transformation and migration activities into EPIC
  • Work with SMEs to define data requirements and validation rules
  • Support data cleansing, reconciliation and quality assurance processes
  • Develop and execute migration scripts and ETL processes
  • Identify and mitigate data risks across the programme
  • Ensure compliance with NHS data governance and IG standards
  • Collaborate with EPIC build and integration teams
  • Support go-live and post-go-live optimisation activities

Skills:

  • Proven experience delivering data migration within EPIC programmes (other EPRs can be considered)
  • Strong understanding of healthcare data structures and workflows
  • Experience within NHS or healthcare organisations
  • Hands-on ETL, SQL and data transformation experience
  • Data validation, reconciliation and quality assurance expertise
  • Experience supporting large-scale go-live/cutover activities
  • Previous involvement in full EPIC lifecycle implementation (desirable)

If you’re an experienced EPIC Data Migration professional looking for a long-term home where you can influence delivery, shape standards and contribute to meaningful NHS transformation, we would love to hear from you!
