I’m supporting a German SAP consultancy looking for an experienced SAP BTP Developer with strong hands-on ABAP knowledge.

The project operates in English, so German language skills are not required.

This is a modern development role combining traditional SAP backend expertise with cloud applications, integrations and clean-core extensions on SAP BTP.

Key experience:

• Commercial SAP BTP development
• ABAP and ABAP OO
• ABAP Cloud, RAP and CDS views
• CAP using Node.js or Java
• SAPUI5, Fiori Elements or freestyle Fiori
• OData and REST APIs
• S/4HANA extensions and clean-core principles
• Cloud Foundry and Business Application Studio
• Side-by-side and in-app extensibility

Desirable:

• SAP Integration Suite/CPI
• API Management or Event Mesh
• HANA Cloud
• Cloud Connector, IAS, XSUAA or OAuth
• CI/CD and automated testing

The ideal consultant will have transitioned from a strong ABAP background into genuine, recent BTP delivery and will remain hands-on throughout the project.
