Fullstack Developer

Full-Stack Engineer (Infrastructure focus) – Aachen, Germany

We’re seeking a Full-Stack Engineer with team lead experience for a small, growing team developing a manufacturing software product.

Role Overview:

– 3+ years experience, ideally with mentoring

– Team of 3, growing 2-3x in 12-18 months

– Company: ~10 people

– Location: Aachen, Germany (near Dutch/Belgian borders)

– Working model: Hybrid

-Domain: Industrial/manufacturing software

Responsibilities: – Build/maintain full-stack features for core product

– TypeScript/JavaScript across frontend/backend

– Own features end-to-end + light infra tasks

– Shape architecture as product scales – Kafka for UI-to-AI service messaging

– Containerisation, deployments, monitoring

– Collaborate via Slack/Notion/Figma/Miro

– Define processes in startup environment

Tech Stack:

– Frontend: Svelte/SvelteKit (pref) or React/TypeScript

– Styling: Tailwind CSS

– Backend: NestJS (Node.js/TypeScript)

– Data: Postgres, Redis

– Messaging: Kafka

– Cloud: S3, Azure

– DevOps: Docker, GitHub CI/CD, Kubernetes

Must Haves: – 3+ years full-stack development

– Strong TypeScript/JavaScript (FE/BE)

– Proficient Docker/containers

– Postgres/Redis experience

– Kafka familiarity

– Agile/Scrum comfort

– Excellent communicator/team player

– Germany work eligibility + Aachen hybrid

Nice to Haves:

– Svelte/SvelteKit production work

– Manufacturing/industrial background

– Kubernetes basics

– Startup/scale-up experience
