Our client, an established and successful consultancy are looking for an experienced GCP Engineer to join them on a contract basis

They are a global consultancy with a special focus on data analytics, machine learning, cloud infrastructure and business reporting

In response to their ongoing growth and strategic initiatives, they are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer specialising in Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This is a pivotal role designed to enhance cloud infrastructure, optimise deployment processes, and support scalable, reliable solutions. You will contribute significantly to evolving their cloud architecture, ensuring efficiency and security in various projects.

We are looking for:

• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer, with demonstrable expertise in Google Cloud Platform services
• Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure design, automation tools, and scripting (e.g., Terraform, Kubernetes, Bash, Python)
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline setup and maintenance
• Understanding of security best practices within cloud environments
• Familiarity with containerisation technologies and orchestration tools
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
