GCP Platform Engineer / Administrator

SC Cleared GCP Engineer / Administrator | Outside IR35 | 6 Month Contract

Rate: £400-450 per day

Location: Hybrid London 3 days a week

Im looking for a GCP Cloud Platform Administrator / Engineer to Join a multi-year transformation programme delivering some of the UK Government’s most critical systems.

What you’ll do

• Design and operate secure GCP & GDC Google Distributed Cloud platforms
• Build solutions for disconnected / air-gapped environments
• Own IAM, networking, GKE and core cloud services
• Automate infrastructure with Terraform and CI/CD
• Optimise performance, reliability and cost
• Partner with security and architecture teams

What you’ll bring

• Strong hands-on GCP engineering or SRE experience
• Knowledge of Google Distributed Cloud
• Experience in offline, regulated or classified environments
• Deep IaC, automation and Kubernetes skills
• Security-first mindset and strong communication skills

Clearance
Must hold SC or DV clearance.
