Role: Global Process Owner – Record to Report (R2R)
Location: London (Southbank); Hybrid 3 days per week onsite
Length: Initial 6-month
Day Rate: £600 to £750 p/d Inside IR35 (Dependent on experience)

We are partnering with a global GovTech consultancy undergoing a major NetSuite implementation to unify finance operations following rapid acquisition-led growth. We need a resilient, hands-on Global Process Owner (GPO) to act as the Design Authority for the Record-to-Report workstream.

As the GPO, you are the ultimate global decision authority for R2R process design, standards, and system configuration within NetSuite. Your goal is to move the organization from legacy, disjointed systems to a single global standard that balances statutory requirements with operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Process Ownership: Own the end-to-end R2R framework including Journal Entries, Intercompany, Fixed Assets, Accruals, and Consolidations.
• Drive Efficiency: Own the global close calendar and proactively drive down “Days to Close” by eliminating manual, non-value-add work.
• Design Authority: Define global process standards, controls, and Chart of Accounts governance within NetSuite.
• Reporting Excellence: Ensure consistent delivery of accurate management and statutory reporting across all global entities.
• Stakeholder Leadership: Lead a global R2R community and partner with Internal/External Audit to ensure control effectiveness.

What We’re Looking For

• ERP Expertise: Strong experience with NetSuite (or similar Tier 1 ERPs like Oracle Cloud/Sage).
• Technical Background: Deep technical accounting knowledge (ACCA/IFRS/multi-GAAP preferred).
• Transformation Experience: Proven ability to standardize processes across complex, global organizations during a major system migration.
• Mindset: A “do-er” who combines a strategic mindset with a focus on operational delivery and change leadership.
