SC Cleared GCP Application Operator | Outside IR35 | 6 Month Contract

Rate: £400-450 per day
Location: Hybrid London – 3 days onsite

I’m looking for a GCP Application Operator to join a multi-year transformation programme delivering some of the UK Government’s most critical systems.

What you’ll do

• Operate and support secure applications across GCP & Google Distributed Cloud
• Manage Cloud Functions, GKE, Compute Engine & App Engine workloads
• Monitor, troubleshoot and maintain services using GCP Operations Suite
• Support releases through controlled CI/CD pipelines
• Carry out patching, configuration changes and performance checks
• Assist with secure application migrations and deployments
• Work closely with engineering, architecture and security teams

What you’ll bring

• Hands-on experience operating applications on Google Cloud
• Knowledge of Google Distributed Cloud
• Experience working in offline / air-gapped environments
• Strong IaC, automation & CI/CD skills
• Good knowledge of Kubernetes, IAM & networking
• Security-first mindset with strong communication skills
