What You’ll Be Doing

Recruitment is a people-focused sales career. As a Trainee Recruitment Consultant, you’ll learn how to manage the recruitment process while building your own client base and specialist market within the Defence & National Security sector.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing new business and identifying commercial opportunities
• Making outbound sales calls and booking client meetings
• Building relationships with defence organisations, technology businesses, and hiring managers
• Negotiating commercial terms and recruitment agreements
• Sourcing candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, and networking
• Speaking with and qualifying candidates
• Managing the recruitment process through to placement
• Developing specialist knowledge of the Defence & National Security market
• Building your professional network and personal brand
• Working towards individual and team sales targets
