iO Associates is proud to partner with a leading innovator in the aerospace field, currently seeking a Head of Propulsion Systems to lead a strategic initiative aimed at driving growth and innovation in propulsion technology.

This role is essential for defining the development strategy and building the department from scratch for a completely new aircraft program.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering or a related field.

• Experience: Extensive experience (12 years or more) in the design and development of propulsion systems within the aerospace industry.

• Languages: B2 level or higher in French and fluency in English.

• Leadership: Proven track record in managing high-performing teams.

• Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of aerospace industry regulations and standards.

• Core Skills: Excellent communication and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the propulsion team in developing cutting-edge technologies and solutions.

• Drive research and development projects to enhance propulsion systems.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business objectives.

• Provide technical expertise and guidance on all propulsion-related matters.

• Oversee the implementation of propulsion strategies to meet deadlines and achieve project milestones.
