We are seeking an ILS Manager (m/f/d) to support complex defence programmes across the full product lifecycle. This role combines technical expertise, customer interaction, and project coordination, ensuring Integrated Logistics Support requirements are embedded from development through to in-service support.
You will act as a key interface between engineering, project management, customers, and external partners, contributing to high-value, long-term defence programmes.
Support customer programmes as ILS sub-project manager
Preparation of cost estimates and quantity structures for customer proposals in close coordination with sales and development teams
Commissioning, coordination, and oversight of subcontractors
Support during product demonstrations, as well as internal and external training activities
Creation and analysis of user and operational profiles
Creation, implementation, and management of ILS concepts and plans, including:
ILS / LSA
Life Cycle Costing (LCC)
Maintenance Management (MM)
Technical Documentation (TechDoc)
Training concepts
Operational Manuals (OM)
In-Service Support (ISS)
Ensuring ILS requirements are embedded within the development process
Continuous coordination with development teams to ensure supportability, maintainability, and availability objectives are met
Completed technical degree or technical vocational training
Proven experience in ILS / Integrated Logistics Support within a defence or highly regulated environment
Experience in project coordination or project management
Strong experience in direct customer interaction, both nationally and internationally
Exposure to training projects and operational environments
Military background, particularly in training or logistics, is an advantage
Knowledge of ASD standards (e.g. S-series) is advantageous
Strong technical understanding with a structured, analytical, and independent working style
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Fluent English (written and spoken); German advantageous depending on project
Willingness to travel as required
