ILS Specialist (m/f/d)

The Role

We are supporting a leading defence technology organisation involved in complex military satellite communications programmes. This position sits within the Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) function and focuses on configuration and data management across high-security defence projects.

You will play a key role in maintaining data integrity, traceability, and configuration control within a highly regulated military environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Capture, process, and maintain data within the configuration management system of a military SATCOM programme

• Record, assign, and manage serial numbers and design status data to ensure full traceability

• Allocate and maintain document numbers for engineering and ILS documentation in line with project standards

• Monitor and maintain the integrity of the configuration management system across the SATCOM programme and additional defence projects as directed by project leadership

• Ensure compliance with military logistics and configuration management processes

Your Profile

• Degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a comparable qualification within Integrated Logistics Support (ILS)

• Experience applying integrated and holistic logistics concepts within military or defence programmes

• Practical experience in configuration management, ideally within defence environments

• Prior exposure to military customers; previous military background is advantageous

• Strong attention to detail, structured working style, and high quality awareness

• Assertive communicator with the ability to collaborate across technical and project teams

• Proficient in MS Office and SAP R/3

• Fluent German and English skills (written and spoken)
