Cheltenham, UK (remote with occasional travel)

£50,000/- per annum DOE

iO Associates are partnered with a specialist cyber security consultancy that helps government, defence and commercial organisations strengthen their security posture, manage cyber risk and achieve compliance with industry-recognised security frameworks.

This is a great opportunity to join a growing consultancy where you’ll work across a variety of security assurance, audit and risk engagements, gaining exposure to high-profile clients and complex security environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver cyber security audits, assessments and assurance activities.
• Conduct risk assessments and compliance reviews.
• Assess security controls against frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST and Cyber Essentials.
• Produce reports and provide practical remediation recommendations.
• Facilitate client workshops and stakeholder meetings.
• Support clients with security policies, processes and governance activities.

Key Requirements

• 3+ years’ experience within Information Security, Cyber Security, GRC or Security Assurance.
• Experience with security audits, risk assessments or compliance activities.
• Knowledge of ISO 27001, NIST, Cyber Essentials or similar frameworks.
• Strong stakeholder management and report writing skills.
• Ability to explain security risks to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Desirable

• Experience within Defence, Government or Public Sector environments.
• Knowledge of CAF, GovAssure or JSP440.
• CISSP, CISM, CISA or similar certifications.
• Exposure to Azure and/or AWS.
