Permanent | £35,000 to £40,000 + Benefits | Basingstoke (Hybrid)

We’re working with a growing technology organisation to recruit a Junior Infrastructure Engineer to join their team in Basingstoke.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone early in their infrastructure career to gain exposure across a broad range of technologies, including Windows, Linux, networking, virtualisation, cloud environments and automation. You’ll work alongside experienced engineers supporting complex client solutions while developing your technical skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Support infrastructure deployments, maintenance and troubleshooting activities
• Gain exposure to servers, networking, virtualisation and cloud technologies
• Assist with automation and Infrastructure as Code initiatives
• Work across Windows, Linux and Kubernetes environments
• Collaborate with senior engineers to resolve technical issues and deliver solutions

Skills & Experience

• Passion for technology and a desire to learn across multiple areas of infrastructure
• Some exposure to systems, networking, scripting or cloud technologies (through work, study or personal projects)
• Familiarity with tools such as PowerShell, Bash, Terraform or Ansible is advantageous
• Strong problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach to learning
• Eligible to obtain DV clearance.
