About the Role

We’re hiring a Lead Mechanical Engineer to lead the mechanical design and development of advanced semiconductor manufacturing equipment.

You’ll provide technical leadership, mentor a team of engineers, and drive projects from concept through to production while ensuring quality, safety, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design activities across multiple projects
• Provide technical leadership to a team of mechanical engineers
• Drive product development from concept through to production
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and engineering standards
• Work with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time

Required Experience

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
• Strong mechanical design experience within a complex engineering environment
• Experience leading engineering teams or technical projects
• Knowledge of regulated engineering environments and product compliance
• Experience with design reviews, FMEA, HAZOP, risk assessments, or similar methodologies

Nice to Have

• Semiconductor equipment experience
• Chartered Engineer status (or working towards)
• Knowledge of SEMI standards (S2, S10) or functional safety standards
• Experience within vacuum systems, precision engineering, or high-tech manufacturing
