This strategic appointment aims to strengthen our client’s commitment to operational excellence amidst industry evolution. This role is vital to driving lean initiatives, streamlining production processes, and ensuring the organisation remains at the forefront of manufacturing innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support lean manufacturing projects to optimise production workflows.
  • Analyse existing processes, identify inefficiencies, and implement continuous improvement solutions.
  • Develop and maintain value stream maps and process documentation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed lean principles into daily operations.
  • Provide training and coaching on lean methodologies to staff.
  • Monitor project outcomes, analyse data, and report on performance improvements.
  • Drive a culture of innovation and proactive problem-solving throughout the manufacturing environment.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Degree postgraduate studies in industrial engineering, production engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
  • At least three years of professional experience within manufacturing or medical technology industries.
  • Solid understanding of lean philosophy and practical application in industrial settings.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to foster collaborative working relationships.
  • Strong analytical capabilities complemented by an autonomous, structured work approach.
  • Holistic view of entire value streams with an emphasis on continuous improvement.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, especially Excel, Visio, Word, and Outlook.
  • Fluent in German and possessing good English language skills, both spoken and written.
