This exciting opportunity is to support the relaunch of an engine manufacturing project As a vital member of the team, you will play a strategic role in ensuring the success of this initiative, making it an ideal position for those keen to influence manufacturing processes and drive operational excellence.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Confirming and aligning on Plans for Every Part (PFEP)
  • Designing and optimising flow paths and replenishment methods for all components involved in the project
  • Developing storage solutions and kits for parts of various sizes
  • Creating pick processes, tracking methods, and line-side locations such as stall build solutions, flow cells, and racks
  • Collaborating with the Manufacturing Engineering team to define POU locations based on build sequences
  • Establishing standard work procedures across warehouse and assembly processes
  • Sizing and specifying material handling equipment for warehouse and production floors
  • Defining and implementing the Inventory Risk Assessment (IRA) process
  • Designing packaging solutions to protect components and streamline handling

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field
  • Proven experience in materials planning, ideally managing a Plan for Every Part in complex manufacturing settings
  • Strong knowledge of designing material flow, replenishment strategies, and point-of-use logistics
  • Experience in developing kits, storage systems, and pick processes for diverse component sizes
  • Familiarity with setting up line-side logistics including flow cells, racks, and build solutions
  • Ability to create clear standard work instructions for warehouse and assembly operations
  • Experience sizing and specifying material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or automated guided vehicles
  • Understanding of IRA processes or similar supply chain resilience practices
  • Knowledge of designing and implementing component packaging solutions

Additional skills that would be a plus include experience with automation solutions and innovative storage strategies. While not essential, these qualities will strengthen your application.
