Software Engineer (TypeScript / Python / AWS)

Fully Remote (UK) | Up to £55,000 | One-Stage Interview Process

We’re looking for a Software Engineer to join a collaborative, AI-first engineering team building and maintaining cloud-native applications on AWS.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll develop new features, improve existing applications and help evolve a modern cloud platform using TypeScript, Python and AWS. You’ll work across the full software delivery lifecycle—from development and infrastructure through to deployment, monitoring and continuous improvement.

What you’ll be doing

• Building and maintaining applications using TypeScript and Python.
• Developing and managing cloud infrastructure with AWS, CDK and Terraform.
• Working across CI/CD pipelines, code reviews and GitHub-based workflows.
• Improving application reliability, performance and scalability.
• Collaborating closely with a small engineering team to deliver high-quality software.

What we’re looking for

• Commercial experience with TypeScript, Python and AWS.
• Experience deploying and supporting production workloads in AWS.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and/or AWS CDK.
• Experience with Git, code reviews and CI/CD.
• Django experience would be a strong advantage, but is not essential.
• Someone who enjoys working across the full development lifecycle and taking ownership of solutions.
