Title: Senior .NET Engineer (Data & Product Analytics)

Salary: Up to £70,000 D.O.E

Location: Bristol (Hybrid)

iO Associates client is hiring a Senior .NET Developer to join a fast-moving Scrum team building a major enterprise platform used across the health insurance industry. This is a hands-on engineering role with a strong product analytics focus, where your work will directly shape how the product evolves.

You’ll be building and enhancing core platform features while also helping establish a new product analytics capability from the ground up, turning user behaviour and system data into insights that drive product decisions, roadmap priorities, and feature design.

What you’ll be doing:

Core Development (.NET / APIs / Angular)

  • Build and enhance features using .NET (C#), ASP.NET Core, and Angular
  • Develop scalable REST APIs and messaging-based services (NServiceBus or similar)
  • Work with SQL Server and MongoDB to deliver high-performance solutions
  • Contribute to design, code reviews, and shared platform components
  • Deliver in a 3-week Agile sprint team

Product Analytics & Data Ownership

  • Define and track product KPIs with Product Managers (adoption, retention, conversion, usage)
  • Instrument applications with event tracking, telemetry, and user behaviour data
  • Build and maintain data pipelines and analytics models
  • Deliver dashboards and reporting using BI tools
  • Turn raw data into clear, actionable product insights
