Principal Network Architect

We are looking for a Principal Network Architect to act as a senior technical leader, trusted advisor, and design authority across complex network transformation programmes.

This is a highly client-facing role, combining architecture, consultancy, pre-sales, and technical leadership. You will help shape secure, scalable, and resilient network solutions across enterprise environments, working from early-stage design through to delivery oversight.

What you will be doing:

• Acting as a trusted advisor to clients and senior stakeholders
• Leading the design of complex network and security architectures
• Shaping solutions across LAN/WAN, wireless, SD-WAN, cloud, data centre, and security environments
• Supporting bids, tenders, and pre-sales activity
• Producing high-quality design documentation
• Providing technical leadership to delivery and engineering teams

What we are looking for:

• Strong experience designing large-scale enterprise network and security solutions
• Proven background as a senior architect / design authority
• Strong client-facing, consultancy, and communication skills
• Experience with technical solution shaping, proposals, and presentations
• Deep knowledge of routing, switching, segmentation, security, and cloud networking
• Exposure to automation, orchestration, or infrastructure-as-code would be beneficial

Desirable certifications:

Candidates with any of the following would be particularly relevant:

• CCNP / CCIE
• JNCIP / JNCIE
• Fortinet NSE
• Palo Alto PCNSA / PCNSE
• Cisco Security certifications such as CCNP Security / CCIE Security
• Check Point CCSA / CCSE
• Cloud certifications across AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI
• ITIL, PRINCE2, AgilePM, or similar delivery / service management certifications
