Role Overview
Due to exciting strategic initiatives and a focus on technological advancement, we’re seeking a highly skilled Principal Systems Engineer on a contractual basis. This vital role is designed to support critical projects, drive technical excellence, and influence system architecture development. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and integration of complex systems, ensuring they meet technical standards and project requirements.
• Provide expert technical guidance to multidisciplinary teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders to translate operational needs into robust engineering solutions.
• Identify and resolve technical challenges swiftly, ensuring project deadlines are met without compromising quality.
• Document system architecture, processes, and handover materials comprehensively for future reference and compliance.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Strong systems engineering background with architectural & design experience
• Data architecture exposure highly desirable
• Domain knowledge: Army / MOD environments ideally
• Proficient in Sparx EA
• CIS, enterprise IT, digital transformation experience valued
