Project Management Consultant – Defence Sector

Active SC Clearance needed, with DV Clearance being desired

Duration: 6-month Initial contract (with potential for extension)

Location: Southwest UK

Working pattern: Hybrid Working – (3 days onsite every week)

Start date: Ongoing Projects

Inside IR35

Junior Level: £250+ Depending on experience

Senior Level: £450+ Depending on experience

Our client is working in partnership with an established Programme across a number of defence areas, helping build out a network of consultants for ongoing project delivery requirements where needed.

This opportunity sits within a long-running defence programme environment and is focused on growing a project management ecosystem to support the delivery across multiple Defence domains and sectors.

What you’ll do:

Support project delivery activity across a range of defence programmes

Work within a complex multi-company delivery environment

Build relationships across the wider programme network to support future project demand

Be positioned for ongoing opportunities across established partner organisations

Operate within secure delivery settings supporting defence-based work in the Southwest

Key requirements:

Active SC Clearance or higher

Project management experience within defence or secure environments

Comfortable being represented into a broader partner network for current and future opportunities

This role is being advertised as an initial 6-month contract; however the wider programme has been running for a number of years and demand remains ongoing.
