Role Summary
Due to strategic growth initiatives, Our Client is seeking a Quality Inspector to join their Facility Operations team. This pivotal role focuses on ensuring compliance and quality standards throughout the production process. As a Quality Inspector, you will play an essential role in maintaining product integrity, which has significant implications for overall operational success. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a critical aspect of the manufacturing process while working in a fast-paced and rewarding environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct receiving inspections of OEM products, including assemblies and finished wellhead components.
- Perform visual and dimensional inspections of wellhead and valve components.
- Process Nonconformance Reports (NCR) and assist in Field Performance Report (FPR) investigations.
- Handle Engineering Change Notices (ECN) and inspect relevant inventory.
- Maintain accurate and legible quality documentation for branch operations.
- Ensure calibration of Measurement and Test Equipment is maintained.
- Perform routine inspections of Service Tools.
- Review and evaluate OEM component data books.
- Undertake additional related duties as assigned.
Essential Skills & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required; further qualifications in a relevant field are preferable.
- A minimum of one year of experience in wellhead manufacturing, particularly in quality control or machining.
- Proficient knowledge in using dimensional inspection equipment (e.g., micrometers, calipers).
- Strong understanding of Quality Systems and ability to read engineering drawings.
- Basic computer skills alongside strong mathematical and reasoning abilities.
- Must pass an annual eye test.
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment would be beneficial.
- Familiarity with industry standards related to quality control.
- Additional certifications or training in quality assurance would strengthen an application.
