Role Overview
This permanent/fixed-term position has been created to support the company’s growth and commitment to exceptional quality standards. The Quality Assurance Engineer will be instrumental in maintaining and enhancing product quality, ensuring compliance with customer requirements, regulatory mandates, and industry standards. This role offers an exciting chance to be directly involved in critical testing, compliance assessments, and cross-departmental collaborations that influence product success on a large scale.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive test concepts and plans aligned with project goals and regulatory standards
  • Coordinate quality assurance activities with customers, regulatory bodies, and external service providers
  • Prepare and execute a variety of tests including technical, acceptance, initial type, and prototypes
  • Conduct conformity assessments and compile certification declarations
  • Manage the creation, tracking, and resolution of error reports to support continuous improvement
  • Plan, monitor, and document testing phases to ensure clarity and thoroughness
  • Lead and participate in internal and supplier audits to verify quality standards
  • Design, facilitate, and record preventive quality assurance methods, such as FMEA

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Completed technical studies or equivalent professional qualification, such as training as a state-certified technician
  • Proven experience in quality assurance, including systematic complaint handling (e.g., 8D process)
  • Strong knowledge of relevant international standards, regulations, and European directives, particularly in electrical engineering and electromagnetic compatibility
  • Familiarity with requirements in military environments is an advantage
  • Ability to work independently, methodically, and within a team setting
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite and willingness to travel occasionally
  • Fluency in both German and English

  • Experience with cross-functional project collaboration
  • Knowledge of military standards or environments
  • Experience in a fast-paced, technology-driven setting
