Quality Manager – SatCom

Location: Germany (On-site / Hybrid options available)

Salary: €60,000 – €80,000 (Depending on experience)

Contract: Full-time, 40 hours per week

Languages: Fluent German (essential) and very good English

About the Role

We are seeking a structured and meticulous Quality Management professional to oversee, maintain, and continuously improve our integrated management systems. This position offers a fantastic growth path, accepting candidates with anywhere from 2 years of experience. We welcome applications from university graduates, those with technical vocational backgrounds, or individuals coming from apprenticeships in fields like communications engineering.

While experience in satellite communications (SatCom) or defense standards is a major plus, it is not a prerequisite. If you have a solid foundation in ISO 9001 and a passion for process optimization, we want to hear from you.

Your Responsibilities

• System Maintenance: Maintain and further develop the management system in accordance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ultimately alignment with NATO standards and AQAP 2110/2105.

• Process Optimization: Support internal process owners in creating, maintaining, and continuously optimizing business processes and documentation.

• Internal Audits: Plan, conduct, and document internal audits based on the required standards.

• External Audits: Organize, facilitate, and support external partner and certification audits.

• Risk & Analysis: Apply your skills in business process analysis, design, and risk management to ensure operational excellence.

Your Profile

• Education: Completed technical or commercial vocational training, an apprenticeship, or a university degree in a technical or business-related field (e.g., communications engineering, electrical engineering, business administration).

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a quality-focused environment.

• Standards Knowledge: Very good knowledge of DIN EN ISO 9001:2015. Familiarity with AQAP 2110/2105 or NATO standards is a significant advantage but not essential.

• Auditing: Prior experience organizing or conducting audits. Professional certifications such as “Quality Management Specialist” or “Internal Auditor” are highly desirable.

• Skills: Strong analytical mindset for process design, excellent communication skills, team spirit, and a highly meticulous approach to tasks.

• Languages: Business-fluent German (essential) and strong professional English.
