RF Architect

Senior RF/Microwave, SDR & Digital Beamforming Hardware Architect – Munich (Permanent, Full‑time)

We are supporting a technology company in Munich that is looking to hire a Senior RF/Microwave, SDR & Digital Beamforming Hardware Architect to take a leading role in the development of advanced RF and mixed‑signal hardware for next‑generation communication platforms.

This position covers the full hardware lifecycle, including system architecture, detailed RF design, PA/LNA development, antenna and microstrip implementation, validation, and support through to manufacturing.

Key Requirements:
* Extensive experience in RF/microwave and mixed-signal hardware development
* Strong background in RF transceiver front‑end design (C‑band or similar)
* Expertise in bi‑directional power amplifier design, including matching, linearity, and thermal considerations
* Ability to architect full SDR analog front-ends (PA/LNA, filtering, switching, ADC/DAC interfaces, clocking)
* Advanced RF/EM simulation skills (microstrip, transmission-line structures)
* Experience with antenna design and integration
* Familiarity with digital beamforming or phased‑array hardware
* Strong hands-on capabilities with RF lab equipment (VNA, spectrum analyzers, signal generators)
* Understanding of EMC/EMI standards (MIL‑STD advantageous)
* Strong communication skills and experience in technical leadership
