About the Role
We are seeking an experienced RPA Business Analyst to join a forward-thinking UK Police Force in the South West. This role sits within our Digital, Data & Technology function and supports the delivery of intelligent automation solutions that enhance operational efficiency and improve public service outcomes.
You will work closely with policing departments, technical teams, and RPA developers to analyse processes, identify automation opportunities, and support the end-to-end delivery of solutions using UiPath or Blue Prism.
Hybrid working is available, and while NPPV3 clearance is preferred, our client is willing to speak to non-cleared candidates if they hold extensive Blue Prism/Uipath experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse complex policing and business processes to identify automation opportunities.
- Conduct detailed process discovery, mapping (As-Is / To-Be), and feasibility assessments.
- Produce high-quality business requirements and documentation for RPA build teams.
- Collaborate with developers through build, UAT, deployment, and optimisation phases.
- Facilitate stakeholder workshops, process walkthroughs, and user validation sessions.
- Monitor the effectiveness of RPA solutions and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Essential Experience
- Strong experience as an RPA Business Analyst in UiPath or Blue Prism environments.
- Excellent process mapping, workflow analysis, and requirements-gathering skills.
- Ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience supporting RPA delivery across the full lifecycle.
- Comfortable working in a hybrid model with some on-site engagement.
Desirable Experience
- Previous experience working within a police force or blue-light/public safety organisation.
- Experience with RMS (Preferably NICHE)
- Background in highly regulated, confidential, or operationally sensitive environments.
- Exposure to broader digital transformation initiatives
