An established defence technology organisation is looking to hire a Sales Engineer to support international growth across ground-based air defence (GBAD) systems. This is a customer-facing role combining technical credibility with commercial execution-ideal for someone who has worked hands-on with air defence capabilities and enjoys presenting solutions to military and procurement stakeholders.
What you’ll be doing
- Build, develop and maintain relationships with international customers in the air defence domain
- Deliver in-depth product presentations and on-site workshops to procurement organisations and armed forces
- Manage ongoing stakeholder engagement through regular progress and alignment meetings
- Produce market/competitor analysis and develop customer-specific sales strategies
- Lead the preparation of offer/tender documentation and respond to customer enquiries
What we’re looking for
- Degree in Industrial Engineering (or Engineering), ideally with an additional business/management qualification
- Several years’ experience working with air defence systems
- Strong preference for background as an officer (e.g., anti-aircraft missile service or naval air defence)
- Fluent English (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus
- Willingness to travel frequently for business, often internationally
