Role Summary
Due to strategic growth initiatives, Our Client is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to spearhead their commercial aircraft sales operations. This pivotal role offers a unique opportunity to influence major business growth, build key client relationships, and shape the company’s future success in this highly competitive industry.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to expand the client base within the commercial aircraft sector.
  • Identify and engage prospective customers, nurturing long-term relationships.
  • Lead negotiations and secure new sales contracts aligned with organisational goals.
  • Coordinate with engineering and operations teams to ensure client requirements are met.
  • Analyse market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic planning.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activity and forecasting.
  • Present solutions and proposals to clients, demonstrating technical and commercial viability.
  • Attend industry events and trade shows to promote the company’s offerings.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in sales within the aerospace, aviation, or related industries.
  • Strong understanding of commercial aircraft systems, specifications, and market dynamics.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to develop strategic plans and drive their execution.
  • Demonstrated success in developing new business and managing key accounts.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.

Desirable Skills & Experience

  • Industry recognised sales or technical certifications.
  • Fluency in additional languages relevant to key markets.
  • Experience working in multinational or complex organisational environments.
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards relevant to aviation and aerospace.
