Role – Salesforce Marketing/Data Cloud Developer

Location – London, UK (You must hold active UK SC Clearance (or be able to transfer an active clearance)

About the role:

You’ll be a hands-on SFMC practitioner designing and building personalised, multi-channel marketing journeys at scale. You’ll work closely with stakeholders and delivery teams to turn requirements into robust Marketing Cloud solutions across email, journeys, automation and data-with a strong focus on quality, deliverability, compliance, and measurable performance.

What you’ll be doing

  • Designing and deploying end-to-end customer journeys in Journey Builder (branching, re-entry, multi-step)
  • Building and optimising email campaigns in Email Studio (including dynamic content/personalisation)
  • Creating Automation Studio automations (imports, triggered sends, scheduled processes, file transfers)
  • Managing data structures in Contact Builder / Audience Builder (data extensions, segmentation, attribute groups)
  • Developing and maintaining assets in Content Builder (emails, landing pages, content blocks)
  • Supporting Marketing Cloud Connect and CRM data sync (data integrity + troubleshooting)
  • Applying GDPR, consent and suppression best practices across all solutions
  • Investigating issues (journey errors, data anomalies, campaign problems) and driving root-cause fixes
  • Contributing to technical documentation and supporting agile delivery (ceremonies, demos, sprint reviews)

What we’re looking for:

Essential

  • Strong, hands-on Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience (developer/consultant capacity)
  • Solid experience with Journey Builder, Email Studio, Automation Studio, Content Builder
  • AMPscript and/or SSJS for personalisation, conditional logic, data lookups
  • Confidence working with segmentation and subscriber/data management
  • Strong grasp of deliverability, compliance, GDPR/consent, and campaign reporting

Nice to have

  • Marketing Cloud Personalization / Interaction Studio (or broader personalisation capability exposure)
  • Marketing analytics / reporting tooling experience
  • Exposure to Data Cloud for segmentation/activation use cases
