An established digital and IT services provider, specialising in cloud, data, and managed technology solutions, is seeking an experienced SAP BusinessObjects (BO) SME to support a large-scale reporting transformation programme.

This organisation partners with businesses to modernise legacy systems, optimise data platforms, and deliver scalable, cloud-based solutions. You’ll play a key role in helping clients transition from traditional BI tools to modern analytics environments.

The Role:

You’ll take ownership of analysing legacy SAP BO environments and supporting the migration of reports into Power BI / Microsoft Fabric, ensuring accuracy, performance, and continuity.

Key responsibilities include:

• Assessing existing SAP BO reports, universes, and data sources
• Documenting report logic, calculations, and dependencies
• Supporting end-to-end migration to Power BI
• Collaborating with Data Architects and BI Developers
• Ensuring data accuracy, mapping, and transformation
• Supporting testing, validation, and parallel run phases
• Providing best practice guidance on reporting optimisation

What We’re Looking For:

• 5+ years’ experience with SAP BusinessObjects (WebI, Universes)
• Strong background in BI/reporting system analysis
• Solid SQL and data modelling skills
• Experience in data/report migration projects
• Strong stakeholder communication and problem-solving skills

Nice to Have:

• Experience migrating to Power BI or modern analytics platforms
• Exposure to Microsoft Fabric / Azure
• Background in enterprise or public sector environments
