SAP HR Payroll Engineer (Spanish Payroll) | Remote | Flexible On-Demand Contract

I’m currently supporting a global enterprise software support organisation that’s looking to engage an experienced SAP HR Payroll Engineer with strong Spanish Payroll (PY-ES) expertise on a fully remote, on-demand consulting basis.

The dialy rate is more than competetive. 

This isn’t a traditional implementation role. Instead, you’ll join a global payroll engineering team supporting enterprise customers post-go-live, delivering payroll legislative updates, resolving complex payroll issues, and maintaining compliant SAP Payroll solutions across multiple customer environments.

• Fully remote
• Flexible, on-demand engagement (typically 0-20+ hours per week depending on customer demand)
• Ideal for experienced freelancers looking to supplement existing client work
• Support multiple enterprise customers across Europe rather than a single implementation
• Strong SAP Spanish Payroll (PY-ES) configuration and localisation experience is essential
• Configure and maintain payroll schemas, PCRs, wage types, processing classes, evaluation classes and cumulation classes
• Configure and support Spanish payroll infotypes, including tax and Social Security
• Deliver Spanish tax, legal and statutory payroll changes, HRSPs and payroll localisation updates
• Support Payroll Control Center (PCC), payroll validation and production payroll processing
• Troubleshoot complex payroll calculation, configuration and localisation issues
• Support year-end payroll activities, statutory reporting and payroll reconciliation
• Work closely with in-country payroll specialists and business analysts to translate legislative requirements into SAP Payroll solutions
• Experience with SAP ECC Payroll and/or Employee Central Payroll (ECP) is highly desirable
