About the Client

Our client is a data-led organisation running large-scale SAS migration and validation programmes where accuracy and performance are critical.

Role Overview

We’re hiring a SAS Expert to validate SAS program outputs during a platform migration. The focus is on ensuring datasets produced in a new Altair-based environment match the existing SAS environment, with equal or better performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Validate and reconcile SAS outputs across legacy and new environments
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and performance
• Test and optimise SAS programs during migration
• Troubleshoot SAS jobs and resolve code issues
• Work independently with business teams during migration

Required Experience

• 9-12 years of hands-on SAS development experience
• Strong expertise in SAS Base and Advanced SAS
• Experience with SAS EG, DI Studio, and SAS E-Miner
• Strong SQL skills for data validation and integration
• Proven experience in SAS code migration and performance tuning
• Experience working with large datasets and data reconciliation

Preferred Qualifications

• Banking or financial services experience
• Exposure to data validation automation
• Experience in Big Data environments
