Role: Business Analyst
Location: Hybrid; Romsey – 3 days per week onsite
Length: Initial 3-Month
Rate: £500-£550/day Inside IR35
Clearance: BPSS and active SC
We’re looking for a Business Analyst with strong expertise in market analysis, competitor intelligence, and commercial strategy to support a high-impact technology transformation programme.
You’ll turn complex market signals into actionable insight, influencing strategic decisions and strengthening competitive positioning.
Key responsibilities:
- Analyse sales & go-to-market strategies, identifying gaps and opportunities.
- Conduct competitor assessments (offerings, pricing, positioning, partnerships).
- Build market intelligence models to track trends, customer behaviour & emerging tech.
- Provide actionable recommendations to enhance market presence & differentiation.
- Collaborate with Sales, Strategy, Marketing & Product teams to validate insights.
- Prepare clear reports, dashboards & presentations for senior stakeholders.
- Work independently and manage multiple analytical workstreams.
What we’re looking for:
- BA experience in market/competitor analysis, GTM strategy, or commercial intelligence.
- Strong understanding of technology markets (software, digital services, advanced engineering).
- Skilled in interpreting complex data and delivering actionable insights.
- Office 365 & Visio proficiency.
- Confident engaging senior stakeholders.
- Defence/national security market experience is a plus.
